Traci Corbin has been with the Department of Health since 2006. She began her public health career serving as a community health nurse where she focused on improving the health of Holmes County and coordinated ways to promote positive health outcomes in the community. From there, she supervised the Low Income Pool grant which aimed to provide services to underinsured and uninsured populations. Most recently, Mrs. Corbin led quality improvement planning and implementation within both health departments.

 

Mrs. Corbin received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from University of South Alabama in 2014 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Public Health Administration from University of South Alabama in 2016. She is a member of the Healthy Holmes Task Force, Washington Community Health Improvement Partnership, Washington County Family and Community Council, and the Countywide Anti-Substance Substance Abuse Effort Coalition. 

   

Mrs. Corbin is a 2001 graduate of Holmes County High School and she is pleased to be of service to the citizens in Holmes and Washington Counties. Mrs. Corbin is committed to building local partnerships that enhance public health for all people in Holmes and Washington Counties.
