Car Seat Safety Classes

Washington County - The Washington County Healthy Start Program will offer a monthly Riding Safely in Washington County car seat safety and parenting class that teaches proper installation of infant and toddler car seats. The class will take place on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 pm. The class location is the Florida Department of Health in Washington County, 1338 South Boulevard, Chipley. The cost for a car seat is $10.00. You must be a Healthy Start participant who is pregnant and/or your child must be 0-3 years of age. Registration is required prior to class. No person shall, on the grounds of age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity receiving or benefiting from federal financial assistance. Sensory impaired or Limited-English Proficiency patients will be provided with necessary aids and interpreters at no cost by calling Kathy Greene at (850) 845-5065.
